Arana!!

Arana!, means Welcome!, in the Pama-Ñung language of the Australian aborigines.

"Arana" is also a surname of Basque origin that means "the valley" or "the plum tree", or "Valley of plum trees".

A little bit of history

Peru has recently been recognized by the European Commission and the World Trade Organization as the official birthplace of this spirit. Indeed, shortly after the Spanish conquistadors landed in Peru, they imported and planted vines to produce wine. Now, a portion of the wine was then distilled in traditional stills, to produce what would become the pride of Peru, the Pisco. The drink produced is notoriously powerful (it is illegal for the Peruvian producers to dilute the distillate with water, so that it always has an alcohol content of around 40%. a clear eau-de-vie, not aged in oak barrels, which is different from other spirits.
